Remenham Challenge

'Will it go ahead won't it go ahead' for the few days before the Saturday morning and even on the morning there were still concerns that the yellow river conditions and the high winds due were going to stop the race!!

However the green light was given and Staines had 2 eights (masters men and women) and 2 quads (junior boys and girls) the first time quads have been and option at Remenham challenge that took to the river. It was welcome news as so many races have been called off due to river conditions over last few months.

We had strong performances from all the crews, even with the tough conditions round Hammersmith Bridge.
