Junior Squad Ergo-thon for Ukraine

Very early on Saturday 12th March at Staines Boat Club we will start a continual Ergo challenge to Ergo-Row for 6 hours without stopping. Teams form the Junior Squad will be keeping at least two Ergo's (Rowing machines) running continually from 5am (yes that's early!) to 11am.

This Ergo-thon challenge is being held in conjunction with our partner Rowing Club Hann. Munden RV in Germany, who will embark on a 48 hour Ergo-Row in an attempt to Row the distance between their Club in and Kiev, Ukraine. A total distance of 1463 kilometres. They hope to raise 1 Euro for each Km Rowed.

Here in England we will be joining Hann Munden RV Germany via a LIVE Zoom broadcast over the internet to help them reach their halfway target mark at 12noon (German Time) 11.00am (UK time) on Saturday.
