John Trumper

The Club is saddened to announce that long time member, John Trumper, died peacefully on 5th May 2021 aged 91. Much loved husband of Doreen, loving father of Ian and proud grandfather of James and Alexandra.

The family have requested that no flowers are sent but that donations, if desired, are made instead to Staines Boat Club to support his lifelong love of rowing, through www.memorygiving.com On behalf of the Club, I would like to thank them for this kind gesture. John was, to use the words of one of his friends, a dapper gentleman and will be missed by the Club and all his friends at Staines Boat Club.
