Christmas lunch and Plum pudding race

Christmas lunch on Sunday 17th December 2023 was attended by 85 members and guests in the new club house, this year was a warm affair as the heating is now connected (no coats and hats needed this year) Well done to all that helped organise prepare and cook the food which was superb.

Christmas lunch is normally proceeded by Plum pudding races which is scratch crews from juniors to masters having names drawn out of a hat and put together to race each other for a coveted plum pudding, this year as the river was on red boards so we had crew pit themselves against each other in a team ergo which was over 10,000 meters, well done to all that took part.
